Observational Studies Cannot Establish Causation
I’m a statistician, physicist, and mathematician among other things.
When it comes to observational studies and statistics, the important thing to KNOW is that no variables are actively manipulated by the investigator in observational studies; therefore, observational studies cannot determine causality.
Observational studies cannot be used to establish causation.
At best, the theory of evolution is based upon observational studies. At worst, the theory of evolution is nothing but philosophy or wishful thinking. The theory of evolution is nothing but a guess. We are not supposed to guess in science. The theory of evolution and the second law of thermodynamics ARE Creation by Chance or Chance Causality. Where Creation by Chance is concerned, data hasn’t been presented to support it, either because it doesn’t exist or because it falsifies their claims that chance can design and create at will.
In the summer of 2019, I eventually realized that my whole statistics course in science and physics and the scientific method FALSIFIES Creation by Chance or Chance Causality. Creation by Chance, Creation by Disorder, Creation by Entropy, and Creation Ex Nihilo are falsified by statistics and the whole of science and the scientific method!
We all KNOW that Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Behaviorism, Determinism, Physical Reductionism, Classical Realism, the Theory of Evolution, the Second Law of Thermodynamics, and Atheism ARE Creation by Chance or Creation by Random Disorder or Creation by Entropy. The whole of science and statistics FALSIFIES Materialism, Naturalism, and their derivatives such as Darwinism and Atheism, because these falsified philosophies or falsified religions are in fact Creation by Chance, Creation by Disorder, or Creation by Entropy.
So, what do we see from these people whenever they are called upon to explain themselves? We see them rejecting, banning, censoring, hiding, and destroying evidence. The Materialists, Naturalists, Darwinists, Nihilists, and Atheists literally hide and destroy the evidence whenever it falsifies their beliefs. They do head-in-the-sand “science”.
The Null Hypothesis in a science experiment states that the results of the experiment were caused by chance or created by chance, which means that the independent variable had NO EFFECT on the dependent variable. If we are forced to retain the Null Hypothesis, that means that there is NO causal relationship between the variables, and that means that your Alternative Hypothesis is most likely false.
The payoff is huge when we start applying correlation, inferential statistics, and the scientific method to Creation by Chance, or the theory of evolution and the second law of thermodynamics! We quickly observe that Creation by Chance or Creation by Disorder cannot be correlated with anything. Chance cannot be the cause of anything. Whenever we conclude that the Null Hypothesis is true, we have in fact concluded that there is NO correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable, that the results of our science experiment were caused purely by chance, and that the independent variable had NO EFFECT on the dependent variable. When we are forced to retain the Null Hypothesis, we are forced to conclude that the results of our science experiment were caused by chance alone and that therefore there is NO causal relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable.
We can’t determine causality when it comes to the theory of evolution!
We can’t determine causality when it comes to the second law of thermodynamics!
Why?
It’s because the theory of evolution and the second law of thermodynamics are Creation by Chance, Creation by Entropy, Creation by Disorder, Creation Ex Nihilo, or the Null Hypothesis. Natural selection is Creation by Death. We can’t do science experiments where we manipulate the amount of chance (or disorder) and then observe the effects of chance on a dependent variable. It just can’t be done. Chance doesn’t have an effect on anything. If it did, then it would no longer be chance!
We can’t have “disorder” or “chance” as our independent variable in a science experiment because we can’t manipulate chance or disorder and have it remain as chance or disorder. In a True Science Experiment, we vary the levels of the independent variable and then measure its effect on the dependent variable. We really can’t have different levels of disorder or chance, because we are looking at order once we have left maximum disorder or chance behind. Furthermore, maximum disorder at the physical level doesn’t touch nor change the perfect, entropyless, syntropic, conserved order of the Quantum Fields at the quantum level.
Likewise, varying the amount of “disorder” in a physical system does absolutely nothing to vary the amount of heat or thermodynamics in that system, because there is NO correlation between disorder and heat. Heat doesn’t cause disorder, and disorder doesn’t cause or eliminate heat. When dealing with Creation by Entropy, Creation by Disorder, or the Second Law of Thermodynamics, their quasi-static methodology, ideal gas, and Carnot engines are impossible to test and verify, because they don’t exist in reality. All of this is purely a figment of their imagination (a thought experiment), and so is the second law of thermodynamics that’s derived from it. We can’t use science experiments to test and verify the things that don’t exist. Creation by Chance or Chance Causation does not exist. They are oxymorons, or a contradiction in terms. They don’t exist; therefore, we can’t test them nor verify them with science experiments.
With “disorder” or “chance” there’s no way to vary the levels of disorder or chance for the sake of experimentation, because when you add order into the experiment to get different levels of “disorder” or “chance”, then you no longer have disorder or chance but varying degrees of order instead. Manipulating the independent variable introduces a certain level of order and organization into the system. In contrast, pure chance doesn’t do anything to touch or change the system. Pure maximum disorder, or chance, is impossible to attain.
This whole problem is exacerbated once you realize that the Quantum Fields are perfect, syntropic, massless, entropyless, and conserved Order and Organization at the quantum level. There really is NO such thing as disorder or chance once the Quantum Fields are taken into account! At maximum disorder, there’s NO place to go but upwards into some type of order or organization instead. True disorder hasn’t existed in our part of the multiverse ever since the Quantum Fields were designed and made by Nature’s Psyche and the Gods.
It’s Nature’s Psyche or the Controlling Psyches within the Energy who create the quantum waves or the photons in the first place; and then later, it is Nature’s Psyche who collapses the wave function and stops the photon thereby transforming that entropyless and omnipresent quantum wave INTO some type of localized mass, heat, resistance to acceleration, or mass’s heat storage capacity (entropy) instead. This is the Perpetual Motion Cycle E = mc2 in action, and it works flawlessly for all eternity because energy is always conserved. We will never have true disorder in our part of the multiverse as long as the Quantum Fields, Nature’s Psyche, the Conservation of Energy and Psyche, the Conservation of Quantum Information within Psyche, and the Perpetual Motion Cycle continue to exist. You would have to destroy the Quantum Fields in order to make the second law of thermodynamics true. To do that, you would have to destroy God and Nature’s Psyche and the Conservation of Energy. The first law of thermodynamics and the second law of thermodynamics are mutually exclusive. They falsify each other. One of them is automatically false.
In a science experiment, there are different levels of effect that we can detect, including the ability to detect NO EFFECT, which is in fact produced by chance alone. If only chance is at work in your science experiment, then you end your science experiment by retaining the Null Hypothesis and conclude that your Alternative Hypothesis is false, all because CHANCE cannot do causation. In Science and Statistics, they use chance as their litmus test to determine whether the independent variable is having an effect on the dependent variable. If chance alone is operating, then WE KNOW for a proven fact that our independent variable is NOT causing the dependent variable, because WE KNOW for a proven fact that chance of any kind cannot do causation. Chance and causation are mutually exclusive. They falsify each other. If you detect causation, then you have falsified chance as your “cause”. If you detect or demonstrate chance, then YOU KNOW that there is no causal relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable.
That’s the way Science and Statistics work.
In Science and Statistics, the only way to find and know the truth is to identify, expose, reject, and eliminate ALL of the deceptions and lies. We find the truth by falsifying and eliminating the things that are demonstrably wrong. In these essays, I try to go out of my way to provide you with the very best that I have been able to glean from Science, Statistics, the Scientific Method, Science Experiments, Observations, Experiences, and the Philosophy of Science. My purpose is to find and know the truth, which means that my purpose is to identify and eliminate the lies. My purpose is to identify everything that’s wrong with Science and then try to find some way to fix it. My purpose is to design and implement the Ultimate Model of Reality and Existence.
According to the rules of statistics, correlation cannot establish causation. Observational studies cannot establish causation. We have to run a True Science Experiment in order to establish causality.
Alas, Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Atheism, the Theory of Evolution, and the Second Law of Thermodynamics are nothing but observational studies. As such, they cannot be used to establish causation. You have to run a science experiment in order to establish causation, and there’s NO way to run a True Science Experiment with Creation by Chance or Chance Causation because chance by definition cannot do causation. Causation and chance are mutually exclusive. They falsify each other. Causation FALSIFIES Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Atheism, the Theory of Evolution, Chemical Evolution, Macro-Evolution, Abiogenesis, Spontaneous Generation, the Second Law of Thermodynamics, and every other form of Chance Causation or Creation by Chance. Physicalism, Mechanism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Atheism, the Theory of Evolution, and the Second Law of Thermodynamics are observational studies (or thought experiments) at best and deceptive lies at worst. They cannot be used to establish causation. They cannot do causation. They are the product and NOT the cause. The purpose of Statistics and Science is to find the True Cause of each event, and chance can NEVER be the true cause of anything.
The payoff is huge with this one. ALL of the falsehoods, deceptions, and lies in “science” are immediately identified and eliminated once we realize that chance cannot do causation. This is cool stuff. This is powerful stuff – but only if you are willing to accept it once you find it. This is also painful stuff, especially for a Materialist, Mechanist, Naturalist, Darwinist, Nihilist, or Atheist. I KNOW because I used to be a materialist, naturalist, nihilist, and atheist. The truth is painful because it falsifies Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Mechanism, Behaviorism, Determinism, Physical Reductionism, Atomism, Atheism, the Theory of Evolution, the Second Law of Thermodynamics, and every other type of Chance Causality or Creation by Chance.
Most of our scientists are unwilling to falsify Creation by Chance, or Chance Causation, or the Null Hypothesis. They find any way they can to accept their Alternative Hypotheses instead. They will manipulate the data and destroy the evidence in order to prove their Alternative Hypothesis true. Atheism of any kind is based upon the destruction of the evidence that FALSIFIES Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Atheism, the Theory of Evolution, or the Second Law of Thermodynamics. That’s the only way that these people can retain their Null Hypothesis is by hiding or destroying the evidence that falsifies it.
We can’t do observational studies on evolution or natural selection designing, creating, and manufacturing genes, proteins, and genomes from scratch, because evolution of any kind has NEVER been caught in the act of designing and creating anything. Evolution can’t design and create because it is Chance Causation or Creation by Chance. Chance can’t do causation, which means that chance can’t do design and creation.
Observe that Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, Atheism, the Theory of Evolution, and the Second Law of Thermodynamics are purely observational studies. Because these things are Chance Causation or Creation by Chance, they cannot be used in science experiments to establish causality. They are purely observational studies, and observational studies cannot be used to establish causation. Chance cannot do causation. Causation and chance are mutually exclusive.
Any attempt to run a science experiment on the theory of evolution, chemical evolution, or macro-evolution has failed – thereby proving that natural selection and the different types of evolution can’t design and create anything at all. The reason they can’t design and create is because they are in fact Chance Causation, Creation by Chance, or the Null Hypothesis. Chance cannot do causation. Once we observe causation, then WE KNOW that chance is no longer involved. PSYCHE, or CHOICE, or INTELLIGENCE is now involved whenever we observe causation.
The Atheists are deathly afraid of consciousness or psyche. The Materialists, Naturalists, Darwinists, Nihilists, and Atheists are constantly saying that they don’t believe in invisible, immaterial, non-physical, supernatural Gods; but, that isn’t true. There are a few that these people believe in. True, they don’t believe in psyche, quantum consciousness, or intelligence; but, they do believe in natural selection, evolution, chance, and entropy which are in fact invisible, immaterial, non-physical, supernatural Gods to these people. These people imbue evolution, natural selection, chance, and entropy with all the powers and abilities of a God. Evolution, natural selection, chance, and entropy ARE their supernatural replacement for Psyche, Intelligence, or God. These people replaced the True God with a bunch of false gods; but, the Atheists and Naturalists and Darwinists do indeed have gods that they worship and believe in, whether they realize it or not.
Evolution of any kind is a dead-end because it is Chance Causation, Creation by Chance or Random Disorder, or Caused by Chance Alone. Evolution is entropy, and entropy is one of the “creative mechanisms” that the Materialists, Naturalists, Darwinists, and Atheists have chosen to believe in. It’s ALL Creation by Chance or the Null Hypothesis because it is produced by chance alone. Creation by Evolution or Creation by Entropy is a dead-end because these things cannot design and create. They have never been caught in the act of doing so.
The ONLY way to succeed when it comes to “evolution” is through genetic engineering or directed evolution, and that’s intelligent design or intelligent causation or choice – NOT natural evolution or natural selection. Anytime we humans start manipulating the genes and the proteins, then we are NO longer looking at evolution or chance but are looking at some type of intelligent causation instead. Only Psyche or Intelligence can do choice, causation, or creation. It’s the only thing that has been caught in the act at all levels of existence and reality. Psyche, choice, and causation are synonymous with each other.
Many types of intelligent intervention can cause genes to change. Radiation can damage genes and cause them to change. By definition, genetic engineering can change our genes. In contrast, natural selection doesn’t touch our genes! Natural selection doesn’t do anything except sit around and wait for us to die. By definition, in principle, natural selection is unable to touch, control, or change our genes. Natural selection is Creation by Chance, Creation by Entropy, and Creation by Death. It doesn’t do anything.
The theory of evolution is Creation by Chance. The big bang theory, as the scientists typically employ it, is also Creation by Chance or Creation Ex Nihilo. It’s magic or creation without causation. Atheism is Creation Ex Nihilo – the creation of something from nothing by nothing. It’s voodoo or magic. It’s the second law of thermodynamics, which states that the total amount of entropy or disorder in our universe is constantly increasing and can never decrease or go to zero. It’s the creation of something from nothing. It’s a Boltzmann brain.
Statistics were designed to identify and eliminate the effects of chance from science. Statistics were designed to eliminate the various different forms of Creation by Chance from science. Statistics was designed to eliminate the theory of evolution, materialism, naturalism, nihilism, atheism, behaviorism, determinism, physical reductionism, creation by chance, and creation ex nihilo from science.
The theory of evolution cries out for empirical verification, but there can NEVER be any empirical verification for Creation by Chance, because chance is completely unreliable, unpredictable, uncontrollable, and impossible to replicate or measure.
There’s NO data supporting Creation by Evolution, Creation by Entropy, or Creation by Chance; and, we should already KNOW that CHANCE cannot design and create anything. Yet, Materialism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, and Atheism ARE in fact Creation by Chance or Creation Ex Nihilo. These people really truly believe that CHANCE designed and created everything that exists. That’s what they believe, is it not?
Creation by Evolution is based exclusively on chance. In contrast, REAL SCIENCE and statistics attempt to eliminate chance from the equation so that we are left with proof of causality instead. There can be NO proof of causality for something that is based exclusively on chance, such as Darwinism, Evolution, or the Big Bang Theory. All we can do with these things is to do observational studies; and, observational studies cannot establish causality. The geniuses in this world should know this, but they don’t. Self-deception works, and it works every time, especially when it comes to PhD scientists who believe that they know everything already.
We will NEVER be able to prove that Evolution or Chance caused everything to exist. In fact, since the theory of evolution is Creation by Chance, that effectively proves that the theory of evolution is false, because chance cannot be used as a causal mechanism in science. In science, whenever we see that the results of our experiments were caused by chance, we are supposed to falsify or eliminate our hypothesis, and start over again. Having established beyond a shadow of a doubt that evolution and the big bang were caused by chance, we are supposed to toss those theories into the garbage can and start over again, because in science CHANCE cannot be a valid cause for evolution, the big bang, physical matter, genomes, life forms, planets, stars, galaxies, or anything else that we might observe. Chance cannot do causality. It would no longer be chance if it did.
In science, whenever chance is the explanation that we come up with, we are supposed to falsify and eliminate our alternative hypotheses and conclude that the independent variable had NO EFFECT on the dependent variable. In other words, since evolution is Creation by Chance, we are supposed to falsify and eliminate that hypothesis, toss it out, and conclude that evolution or natural selection or chance had NO EFFECT on the proteins, genes, genomes, eyes, brains, life forms, planets, stars, and galaxies that we observe all around us.
We can’t have the truth if we are constantly lying to ourselves.
So, why haven’t we tossed out the theory of evolution and the second law of thermodynamics since they are Creation by Chance or Creation Ex Nihilo or the Null Hypothesis? We haven’t tossed them out precisely because they are Creation by Chance or Creation Ex Nihilo. They are precisely what we want to be true, NOT what we can prove to be true. They are Atheism, Naturalism, Darwinism, Nihilism, and Physicalism which is why they are being preserved. These people have granted themselves a special pleading or a special exemption so that they don’t have to prove that their theories and ideas are true. Instead, they simply jump to the conclusion that their theories and ideas are true, and then they turn their theories and ideas into axioms and laws so that their theories and ideas can’t be falsified by the scientific community.
It’s a monopoly. It’s a scam. It’s a deceptive lie.
